Head BCBA

We are looking for a strong leader to maintain our vision of the application of Skinner’s analysis of verbal behavior in practice with children and adolescents diagnosed with Autism. Individuals not interested in the analysis of verbal behavior need not apply. For 13 years Behavioral Connections has fought to provide ABA treatment specialized in the use of Skinner’s analysis of verbal behavior for individuals that have previously been unable to communicate, or with a very limited ability to communicate. Verbal behavior interventions have proven to change lives, and our vision continues as our reach extends further North. 

 

Position Overview 

•       Oversee the clinical decisions of all of the Supervising BCBA’s 

•       Provide one hour per week of direct case oversight

•       Troubleshoot programming to ensure all learners are making progress

•       Troubleshoot behavior interventions to ensure all barriers to learning are being reduced

•       Assist with identifying training gaps, and communicate with training team to develop additional procedural integrity checklists 

•       Assist with continuing education development in the context of monthly, quarterly trainings (i.e., in person and online)

•       Coach BCBAs within the moment with how to deliver feedback, and guide RBTs in a positive manner

•       Assist with scheduling and oversight of intakes & assessments

• Assist with the daily flow of the Center

Administration

  • Work closely with the Administrative assistant and Office Manager

    • Assist team members complete RBT process & Renewals

    • Assist with scheduling recommendations

    • Assist with RBT triage during cancelations

  • Provide parent support, consultation & training 

  • Complete Performance Objectives Matrices (POM’s) for the Supervising BCBA’s annual reviews

  • Assist with organizational behavior management programs

Education & Experience

  • Masters with a BCBA/LABA or Doctorate with a BCBA-D/LABA

  • 7-10 years of experience with behavior analysis

  • Thoroughgoing understanding of the science of verbal behavior 

  • Depth and breadth of the VB-MAPP and the application of it with all three levels and among learner’s with varying rates of skill acquisition

  • Centralreach experience a plus
